Nicole

I got the chance today to photograph my beautiful friend Nicole. We had tons of fun with this shoot and some gorgeous pictures came out of it! I love being able to take pictures of people so often, and I'm learning more and more each time I do a shoot.

Vintage

Today I got the chance to team up with my friends Sydney, who interned with a professional photographer this summer, Cassidy and Anne Marie for a photo shoot. I've never been apart of a co-photoshoot, so it was a cool experience. I'm excited to see all the different angles we captured of our beautiful model (and my best friend) Raegan. We went with more of a vintage look for this shoot, which I've never tried, and I loved the outcome.

People-watching

You've heard of street photography, right? Just you, some strangers & your lens. Well, this is kind of like that. Except in the mountains. I liked experimenting with the look of human-environment interaction, even though my family thinks I'm a stalker for taking pictures of strangers (my wonderful supporters). Enjoy!

Landscape Set

For the first two, does it look better in B&W or in color? I love them both too much to just choose one.

Wildlife Set

Colorado was bursting with wildlife- elk, deer, rabbits, and incredibly brave chipmunks. I don't boast of being a wildlife photographer, nor do I aspire to be one- but as a chipmunk stared into my lens, it was too much to resist.

Flower Set

OK. So I went to Estes Park, CO this last week (most beautiful place I've ever been, I might add) with my family, and I didn't have a camera MY camera. I borrowed my generous brother's camera (shout-out!). So actually, due to having to send my precious camera off to Nikon to be fixed, I got to learn how another, different Nikon camera worked. I didn't learn too much, as we were hiking and relaxing most of the time, but it was cool to step out of my one-camera comfort zone.

Anyway, this place is so beautiful that I just have too many pictures to share. So I'll be sharing them over the next few days, in sets. Ergo today's title, Flower Set. I have landscapes, wildlife, even people-watching (You know street photography? It's like that, only in the mountains. And sometimes it's my family). So stay tuned!

This place had some gorgeous wildflowers. We didn't go in the exact season to get a ton of them, but the flowers that were few and far between I managed to capture.

(P.S. I realize I keep changing the template and my watermark, but it's staying this time, for real. I wanted something simpler).
