Black and White

Mixing minimalism with black and white photography, for me creates a powerful and confronting image. Ie: Instead of noticing the color, you notice the texture.

Sitting Ducks

Rubber duck + swimming pool = photography opportunity. Heck, what isn't a photography opportunity?

Ant's Perspective

This bridge has recently been re-boarded (maybe? I don't know how to say it, but they fixed all of the rotting boards) and now I feel safe crossing it.

Essence of Florida

This summer I went on a vacation to the sunny Florida beaches for a couple of weeks, and I decided to put my enthusiasm and my camera to use. These are some of my favorite shots from the trip that I wanted to share.

I'm not entirely sure what kind of bird this is, but it was totally fine just to walk up behind it and take a picture of it. I purposely blurred this picture, because I think the silhouette against the sea adds a dreamy effect. Feedback?

This little boy was so adorable, and so concentrated that I just had to take advantage of the moment to snap his photo.

I went to Sanibel beach, so there were piles upon piles of seashells everywhere you looked. I took the opportunity to use my macro lens.

This is my personal favorite; the sunset was so breathtaking and I couldn't help but praise God for such a beautiful world.
