Yesterday I shot some photos of my friends (some being almost 300), took the most gorgeous ones (it was hard impossible to choose), and did minimal editing on them. This is the product:

Just some more photos....
I'm doing a holiday shoot with some of my friends tomorrow and the photos should be up by Wednesday. Get excited!

The Bokeh Buzz
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, and everyone's talking about festive holiday bokeh. I've only recently discovered this technique (there's a great tutorial at Digital Photography School), and I've absolutely fallen in love with it. For me, it's easiest to shoot bokeh with my AF-S Micro Nikkor 85mm. I've tried to create my own examples here:

Starry Night
So it was really super clear the first night out at the lake, and I saw more stars than I ever have. So I thought, why not experiment with this? So I did. And I realize these are very amateur, but they're the first star photography I've ever done. So I deserve to be excited. I think they're kind of good without any prior experience or knowledge, and no extensive gear.

Excited for some new pictures?
Hey! I'm lake-bound this morning, and I'm going to be there until Saturday. I'm so excited! I'm bringing my tripod for some Thanksgiving week fun! Hoping to get some fantastic shots. I hope my nonexistent small viewership is looking forward to it! I love lakes. The end.

Dog Close-ups, My Watch & a Bug
Well. This post has no theme. I took out my macro lens today, and I started shooting things. Some of them turned out kinda cool.
